Twenty-Five Years: the decolourisation of contemporary painting from 1989 to 2014: Colour is kitsch. Black painting is not the solution. Silver paintings are better paintings. Painting is about structure. Good paintings require frames. Good paintings don´t require frames. Frames increase the illusion.The frame is the meaning. Important paintings fall out of their frames. Only dead painters are good painters. Good painters are rare. Good paintings are rare. Painters are stupid. Stupids only believe in the come-back of painting. Stupids only believe in the come-back of painters. There is no audience beside the painters. Painting means silver.
